Profile

I am an Iranian nomad. In all my works, there is one attitude: the will to raise forgotten questions.
My travel pictures aim at capturing a feeling, a look or a particular composition that makes us rediscover our surrounding.
How nature interacts with material civlization in Norway,
how Tibetan people adapt their lifestyle to high mountains,
how people live their daily lifes in a war-torn Kabul...
Through photos and graphic compositions, I also touch upon contemporary social questions such as questioning the place of labor migrants in Korea or the weight of tradition on women's life in Tajikistan.
I started raising questions, naturally, with words. Beside poetry works, I visualized poetic works, either mine or others', into graphic and typographic shapes.
