Day after day
(Jour apres jour)
My photographs are instants of daily life, the essence of an instant when a look, an expression reveals itself.
My subjects are obvious and self-explanatory by their single presence. It may be a simple face, in its truth, telling a story by itself. I am also interested by fortuitous compositions made by elements accidentally creating meaningful compositions.
Pamir
The sky is blue, much bluer than any place I have ever been! No cloud. They do not succeed to cross the surrounding high pamiri passes.
In the evening, stars are so bright and close that I am under the impression I can touch them with my fingers' end.
We are in Pamir, in Khorog: so modest and however so proud!
Pamiris are just alike the narrow valleys they habit: a severe constitution, a sweet and immensely generous heart.
