There is no message with my art, only questions.
Intuition and creation start with a simple remark: "I don't know..." This ignorance may be the outcome of a question which keeps on puzzling us while we strive for an answer; or perhaps it may concern another question we don't even think of anymore...
I try to feel the answer; this attempt is what really matters, not the answer itself.
In order to visualize this research, I choose to use whatever is just around me, objects and materials from daily life.
I think that just a little attention to those things so close to us, a slightly different look at them, can have a dramatic result, bringing in a new perspective.I don't use a privileged formal method to express my self. Relating to my subjects, I use a wide variety of media, including writing, typography, painting, photography, installations or videos.
But a common thread between many of my works is the combining of words and visual forms, of poetic and visual compositions, as I belong to both universes - maybe a legacy of my Iranian culture?
